Shields of Honor Pipes & Drums

The Shields of Honor Pipes and Drums is a pipe band dedicated topreserving Scottish Highland music and the sound of the Great Highland Pipes. The bagpipes are used to honor firefighters, police, and military personnel in the United States of America. We play in the greater Texoma region (North Texas and Southern Oklahoma) honoring the memory and families of those who have given their lives in service to their communities and country.

The Shields of Honor Pipes and Drums is a dynamic growing band that brings pipers and drummers together from all over the North Texas and Oklahoma region. We welcome people of all skill levels. If you have always wanted to learn the Highland Bagpipes or if Highland drumming is your thing, plan to join us. We meet once a week. Currently we are holding practice at 6:30 PM, Thursdays at the North Park Baptist Church, located at 2605 Rex Cruse Dr in Sherman TX. You are welcome to sit in on a practice, meet everyone and see if our pipe band is right for you.
